Some books we simply read and put back on the shelf. And then there are books that feel like they were written for us, for that very moment in our lives. They opened doors for me, challenged me, and reminded me again and again that more is possible: more love, more awareness, more aliveness.
Today, I want to share my five absolute favorite books with you.
1. A New Earth – Eckhart Tolle
This book was an awakening for me. Eckhart Tolle describes so clearly how much our ego keeps us trapped in patterns of thought – and how much freedom arises when we connect to the present moment. A New Earth has become like an anchor in my life. Whenever I get lost in the stories of my mind, it reminds me that peace begins within me, right here and now.
2. The Four Agreements – Don Miguel Ruiz
So small, so simple – and yet so powerful. The first time I read it, I thought: “This sounds almost too easy.” But that’s exactly why it’s so transformative and helpful in daily life..
The Four Agreements are:
Be impeccable with your word.
Don’t take anything personally.
Don’t make assumptions.
Always do your best.
Whenever I find myself falling back into old patterns – I come back to these four sentences. They are like a compass for clarity and inner freedom.
3. Pussy: A Reclamation – Regena Thomashauer
This book deeply touched me – and also challenged me. Pussy gave me words for something I had always felt inside: that our feminine power, pleasure, and creativity are not separate, but one. It encouraged me even more to reclaim sexuality, not as something to hide or diminish, but as a source of joy, self-love, and life force.
4. Calling in “The One” – Katherine Woodward Thomas
This book has been on my side, since I decided to coach around conscious dating and it is such a beautiful journey! It speaks to me, as it is not about “finding the right partner,” but about opening from within. Healing old wounds, making space, and meeting yourself with love. For me, Calling in the One was a gentle yet honest invitation: not to wait for someone else to choose me, but to choose myself first. It is a good introduction into my work and together with a transformational coaching container - it has the power to change your experience in life and love completely.
5. Women’s Anatomy of Arousal: Secret Maps to Buried Pleasure – Sheri Winston
If I could call a book a treasure, this would be it. Sheri Winston weaves together knowledge of anatomy, energy, and pleasure in such an accessible and inspiring way. It showed me that our erotic potential is so much greater than we’re often led to believe. That pleasure isn’t something we “should have,” but a field we can cultivate, explore, and delight in.
Final Thoughts
Each of these books has shaped me in its own way. Some gave me words for what I had only felt before. Others shook me awake and opened new doors.
If you are on your own journey – seeking more awareness, deeper love, or embodied self-connection – I believe these books can be precious companions for you too.
